Star Wars 7 Movie in 2015

Star Wars 7 MovieDisney just bought LucasFilm, for roughly $4.05 billion in stocks and cash. So they now have control over the Star Wars franchise and they definitely intend to bring it back to life: a new trilogy has been announced!



Yep, get ready for at least three more Star Wars movie. Star Wars Episode 7 is set to hit theaters in 2015, with more installments to soon follow. No director has been named yet. And of course no plot detail has been revealed.

A few words from George Lucas:

For the past 35 years, one of my greatest pleasures has been to see 'Star Wars' passed from one generation to the next. It's now time for me to pass 'Star Wars' on to a new generation of filmmakers. Disney's experience gives Lucasfilm the opportunity to blaze new trails in film, television, interactive media, theme parks, live entertainment, and consumer products.

    Here's my strongest suggestion: Be sure Episode VII draws us in as an audience. . . make us care about the characters, and have a GREAT PLOT. The prequels were horrendous- like attending a tax seminar with a bladder infection.

    They should show Han meeting Chewie and winning the falcon in a card game and a person or thing evolves the dark side to be more sinister and resurrects Vader's outfit but with a few minor changes
